Financial Controller/Office Manager Position in Drywall Subcontractor, Midtown Manhattan
Fast growing drywall subcontractor seeking controller/office manager to assist/ support office
executives, coordinate/manage office maintenance and general supervision
Responsibilities:
Manage daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivables
Prepare and submit monthly AIAs for billing of ongoing projects ensuring compliance with contract
terms and change orders, issuing statements to clients and following up on payments
Work closely with accountant to assist in external audits
Assisting project management team with subcontracts and change orders
Oversee payroll, assist with the hiring, onboarding, training and performance management of
employees
Process COI requests and deliver to clients in a timely manner and handle insurance claims
Prepare agendas, make travel arrangements and keep calendars for management
Main point of contact for IT support
General office upkeep
Qualifications
Ability to maintain confidentiality of company information
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft office suite (word/excel)
Strong organizational skills
Job Type and Schedule: Full time Monday- Friday 8am – 4.30pm
Compensation: $85k plus depending on experience, 401k retirement plan with employer match
