Host position for Murray Hill/ Midtown bar
Host position for Murray Hill/ Midtown bar. 4 to 5 evenings per week (flexible on 4 or 5 nights but Fridays & Saturdays are obligatory) Approx 30 hours per week.
Starting pay $20 per hour. Increases to $25 per hour once all the responsibilities can be handled by the individual.
Responsibilities include:
*Welcoming guests
*Seating people and managing the table seating arrangements to their full potential.
*Pointing out the QR code menu or offer physical printed menus once customers are sat.
*Maintaining wait-list
*Coordination with wait staff – work with wait staff to determine seating options and plan out wait-list times
* Managing the TVs and being able to put live sports on TVs
*Making sure lighting and level of music is appropriate in the table sections
